Separate joining from participation
A Discord member service concerns a server-join action. It does not automatically include chat participation, useful discussion, moderation or ongoing activity. Terms such as online members need their own definition and should not be assumed to mean genuine community engagement.
Check the invite and server settings
Use the invite format requested by the selected service. Confirm that the invite is valid and that any entry requirements are compatible with the service’s stated process. Do not disable protective server settings simply because an unknown seller asks you to do so.
Confirm the supported feature
Server membership and paid platform features are different products. An offer that mentions several features should itemize them. Do not infer a paid benefit, a particular role or future activity from a member-count package.
Measure what matters for your community
Track retention and useful discussion separately from the raw member number. Record the starting count and service terms before a test. If the purpose is building a useful community, content, moderation and genuine participation still need their own plan.
Do server members guarantee active chat?
No. Joining a server and participating in a conversation are different actions.
