Use a viewer perspective
Open the exact proposed target in a separate signed-out browsing context where possible. Note whether it resolves to the intended public item or a login, permissions or unavailable-content screen. This check helps describe access, but it does not guarantee supplier eligibility.
Check the accepted format
Compare the link with the listing's input instructions, including whether it expects a post, Reel, video or Page. Removing text from a copied share message can help isolate the URL, but do not invent a rewritten address or strip meaningful identifiers blindly.
Escalate restrictions clearly
If the item has an access restriction, describe it to support before ordering and ask whether the selected service accepts that target. Changing privacy settings just to satisfy an assumed requirement can create unintended visibility; follow the content owner's authorized publication choices.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Viewer check | Exact item opens as intended |
| Format | Matches service input rules |
| Restriction | Resolve eligibility before payment |
Worked example
Suppose a Page administrator can see a video but an independent viewing check reports it unavailable. That difference is useful evidence to send support. It is not a reason to keep submitting different quantities against the same unverified target.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
