A rate per 1,000 is a unit price, not necessarily the minimum purchase. The basic calculation is rate multiplied by quantity, divided by 1,000. If the rate is $2 and your quantity is 250, the service charge is $0.50 before any separate charges. Always check whether the service uses a different billing unit.
Separate rate from minimum
A low rate can still require a large minimum order. A $0.80 rate with a minimum of 10,000 needs an $8 service purchase. A $1.20 rate with a minimum of 100 allows a $0.12 purchase. These illustrative services are not live offers.
Compare like with like
Match the platform, content format, targeting and coverage before comparing rates. A cheaper unit is not necessarily a substitute if it accepts a different link or measures a different action.
Confirm the final charge
Use the calculator below for an estimate, then check the order form. Currency conversion, payment charges or other listed fees can change what you pay. Do not add an assumed surcharge to every order.
Your pre-order checklist
- What unit is the rate based on?
- What minimum quantity applies?
- Are separate charges shown?
