Specify the distribution
Write the requested reaction types and quantities as separate lines. A listing described only as mixed reactions may leave the distribution to the supplier. That is a different purchase from an exact allocation, even when both orders contain the same total number of actions.
Compare the billing structure
Ask whether individual reaction types require separate service IDs or whether the mix is entered in one supported order. Separate minimum quantities can make a small custom distribution impractical. Compare the complete configuration rather than multiplying the cheapest displayed rate by your overall total.
Keep the mix auditable
Save the selected configuration with the order reference and a starting reaction breakdown if available. A change in the aggregate count does not establish that each requested type arrived. Review discrepancies by type instead of treating an increase in one reaction as replacement for another.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Exact mix | Written quantities for each reaction |
| Supplier mix | Distribution is not buyer-selected |
| Separate orders | Check each minimum quantity |
Worked example
For a hypothetical 120-reaction brief, 80 Like and 40 Love add to the same total as 60 of each. If the offered mix does not accept a split, neither allocation should be promised to a client. Choose an explicitly compatible option or revise the brief.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
