Define the eligible purchase
Check whether the discount applies to one order, cumulative spending, or a particular service. A bulk headline does not establish that every platform or action receives the reduced price. Record the quantity threshold and the applicable listing.
Value only usable units
An oversized package can have a lower nominal rate while costing more than the smaller purchase you need. Calculate spending for your usable quantity, and treat any extra units as a separate choice rather than an automatic saving.
Avoid prepaying for uncertainty
If the discount requires funding an account in advance, separate the potential service saving from the money committed. Confirm current availability and the relevant balance terms before accepting a larger deposit simply to unlock a rate.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Threshold | Qualifying quantity |
| Usable units | Campaign requirement |
| Commitment | Amount paid upfront |
Worked example
A hypothetical 2,000-unit package costs $6; individual units cost $4 per thousand. The package matches the smaller-rate spend at 1,500 units because 1.5 × $4 = $6. Below that requirement, the package costs more.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
