Verify the accepted number
Open the actual order record and confirm the quantity, service, and charge. An unsent form value is different from an accepted request. If the interface displayed an error, check whether any matching order exists before making another attempt.
Ask about permitted changes
Use the order reference to request clarification on editing or cancellation. Do not assume that a quantity can be reduced once processing begins. A seller may apply service-specific restrictions, so preserve the relevant description and support response.
Recalculate the campaign impact
If the accepted amount cannot change, record the difference from the approved scope and decide whether remaining orders should be paused. Do not compensate by altering other client purchases without approval. Keep financial adjustments separate from quantity adjustments.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Accepted | Recorded quantity |
| Rules | Edit or stop eligibility |
| Budget | Difference from approval |
Worked example
A hypothetical request intended for 250 units is accepted as 2,500 at $2 per thousand. The expected charge changes from $0.50 to $5. Confirming the accepted record is the first step; a later correction depends on the service's terms.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
