Test the exact shared address
Open the link that will actually be submitted and note how access works. A track that opens in the uploader’s account may behave differently for another viewer. Keep the access condition separate from the question of whether the URL identifies the right music.
Ask about compatibility
Read whether the listing accepts that access state and link format. If it is not explicit, ask before purchasing. Do not share login credentials or assume that a special sharing link automatically makes the target compatible with every service.
Avoid changing access mid-order
If the campaign requires an access change, establish its effect before submission where possible. Keep the original target and any later change in the record. A broken link during processing can complicate both completion and investigation.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Access | What the submitted link permits |
| Compatibility | Accepted access state for the service |
| Stability | Whether the target will remain available |
Worked example
For an illustrative pre-release track, the artist can open the link but the buyer sees an access message. Resolve that mismatch and confirm service compatibility before treating the pre-release address as ready for an order.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
