Record both references
Keep the Threads post URL and the Instagram item URL in different fields. The same account branding or reused creative does not mean one service order covers both. Identify which platform's action the campaign actually requests before choosing a category.
Check the listing's target type
A Threads likes offer should receive the compatible Threads target specified by its instructions. An Instagram post or Reel is not a substitute. If both platforms are included, treat them as separate scopes with their own service definitions, quantities and applicable conditions.
Report each publication independently
Observe the relevant metric on each platform and retain its order reference. Do not combine counts into a single claimed delivery result without labeling the aggregation. A completed action on one platform does not prove a corresponding action occurred on the other publication.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Threads | Threads target and service |
| Separate target and service | |
| Report | Platform-specific observations |
Worked example
A hypothetical launch image appears on both platforms. If the approved brief assigns 100 likes to each publication, that is two specified targets. Submitting the Threads URL once should not be represented as purchasing 100 actions on both items unless an offer explicitly defines such coverage.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
