Use a complete time reference
A time such as 8 PM is incomplete without a date and time zone. Record the broadcast schedule and any requested service schedule using an explicit zone. This is especially important when the buyer, creator and service operate in different locations.
Check the supported scheduling method
Ask whether the selected option accepts scheduled starts or requires an active stream at submission. A correctly converted time does not create a scheduling feature that the listing does not provide. Keep the actual supported trigger in the plan.
Review changes on both timelines
If the stream moves, update both the creator’s schedule and the order plan. Confirm the corresponding date as well as the hour, because a conversion can cross midnight. Retain the previous time with the change record.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Reference | Date, clock time and time zone |
| Method | Supported start trigger or scheduling option |
| Changes | Both event and request timelines updated |
Worked example
For a hypothetical cross-border event, the creator’s Friday-night session may occur after midnight for the buyer. The brief should state one exact reference time and its date rather than relying on both parties saying Friday at eight.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
