Follow the address carefully
A shortened address can be convenient to share but hides the destination at a glance. Open it and verify the video, channel and content before using it in an order. A copied campaign link can also point to an older asset.
Use the accepted input
Follow the selected service’s requested URL form. If it asks for a direct video address, use that address rather than a tracking or redirect link. Do not remove parts blindly; verify that the resulting address still opens the intended content.
Save evidence of the target
Keep the accepted URL and video title with the order. A redirect can change independently of your written campaign brief. When a target error is reported, the exact submitted address is more useful than a screenshot of a similar video thumbnail.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Redirect | The final destination after opening |
| Input rule | The URL form accepted by the listing |
| Record | Direct target and submitted address |
Worked example
Imagine two campaign links called launch and launch-new. Before ordering, open the chosen link, confirm the final video, then store that direct address in the order sheet so the redirect name cannot cause confusion.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
