Keep the prior specification
Retain the old service ID, action, target type and terms with its order reference. This creates a meaningful comparison record when the catalog changes or a similar option appears nearby.
Compare the current listing
Check the rate, quantity limits, accepted formats and any replacement coverage. If the original service is unavailable, evaluate a replacement as a new choice rather than assuming another similarly named item is equivalent.
Confirm the new target
Copy the intended current URL and verify the campaign quantity independently. Reusing an old order record can accidentally preserve the earlier post link even when the service selection itself is correct.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Identity | Current service ID versus earlier ID |
| Scope | Format, limits and coverage |
| Target | New approved post or account URL |
Worked example
Hypothetically, a buyer used service 123 for a Reel last month. A similarly named current service has a different ID and terms. The buyer compares its requirements before repeating the quantity and replaces the old Reel URL with the newly approved target.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
