LinkedIn Reaction Types: Write a Precise Campaign Brief

A LinkedIn reaction brief should specify whether the buyer needs a particular action or accepts a supplier-defined mix. Avoid letting a general reaction total imply a specific sentiment.

Separate action from interpretation

Name the requested reaction type where the service supports that choice. Do not present purchased reactions as verified professional endorsements, customer satisfaction or evidence of agreement with every claim in a post. The transaction concerns a defined platform action.

Confirm selection mechanics

Check whether the reaction is selected through a service ID, an input field or another explicit method. A mixed option may not allow a fixed distribution. Compare quantity minimums and total cost for the configuration the buyer can actually submit.

Keep the published context accurate

Review the post and any accompanying campaign copy so that the meaning attributed to the reactions stays truthful. If the client expects a reaction breakdown, agree on what can be observed and reported. A total increase does not establish a requested sentiment split.

Worked example

For illustration, a hypothetical client requests 60 of one reaction type and 40 of another. A supplier-defined mix of 100 does not promise that distribution. The brief should either select an explicitly compatible allocation or describe the mix as uncontrolled.

Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
