Read the viewing condition
Look for any stated viewing duration, content restriction or measurement basis. If the listing leaves those points undefined, ask for clarification rather than importing a definition from another platform. The word view alone is not a complete description of audience behavior.
Check the video target
Confirm that the service accepts the particular publication and media format. A post linking to an external video can differ from a native video target. Keep the submitted URL and account identity with the purchase specification so the comparison concerns the same item.
Report scope without inference
A counted view does not establish that the viewer watched the full presentation, understood it or became a lead. Record any business outcomes independently. Compare the service's price against its actual stated unit instead of converting it into unsupported attention or conversion claims.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Definition | Stated viewing condition |
| Target | Compatible video publication |
| Outcome | Business results separate |
Worked example
A hypothetical offer defines a viewing condition while another simply lists views with no explanation. Equal quoted quantities do not resolve that difference. Ask the second provider to clarify its unit before presenting a price comparison as like-for-like.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
