Capture the complete request
Record the exact URL, chosen action, quantity and maximum approved spend. Include the responsible client contact and approval date so a forwarded message does not become an ambiguous instruction for another campaign.
Note conditions and dependencies
Identify any timing requirement, pending publication or content change that must be resolved before submission. Approval for an idea should not be mistaken for approval to order against a placeholder or a different existing video.
Reapprove material changes
If the target, action or budget changes, obtain a clear updated instruction. Keep the earlier version for context, but label the current approved specification so another operator does not execute the obsolete one.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Specification | Exact URL, action, quantity and budget |
| Authority | Named approving contact and date |
| Revision | Current approval distinguished from old versions |
Worked example
Hypothetically, a client approves 500 views for a teaser but later replaces the campaign video. The operator obtains the new target approval before ordering. The original approval is not stretched to cover a different publication merely because the campaign name stayed the same.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
