Save the starting identity
Record the public URL and handle used at purchase, together with the order reference. If the account owner plans a change, note the intended timing. A current profile screenshot may not explain which address the service originally received.
Check service continuity
Review the listing or ask support whether active processing can follow the change. Do not assume that every provider resolves identity in the same way. If continuity is uncertain, consider the timing of a nonurgent rename alongside the existing order conditions.
Explain the transition clearly
Provide the old address, new address and change time in a single support request if processing becomes unclear. Avoid immediately ordering again under the new handle. First establish whether the original purchase remains active, requires review or has reached a final state.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Before | Submitted handle and URL |
| After | Current public identity |
| Support | Order ID and change time |
Worked example
Suppose an account changes from a campaign-specific handle to its permanent brand name while an order is running. The two names alone do not explain the history. A documented before-and-after record lets support evaluate the actual request without guessing which account was purchased for.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
