Agree on one target record
Have the campaign owner provide the exact content URL and confirm compatibility with the chosen listing. Profile references from different partners should not replace the actual post identifier required by the service.
Assign ordering responsibility
Name one person to submit and monitor the order. Partners should share the order reference rather than independently purchasing the same metric while assuming the other party has not yet taken action.
Separate credit from delivery
Record which collaborator funded the order and which campaign it belongs to. A delivery count cannot establish which partner caused organic activity, and payment responsibility does not change the target specified in the order.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Target | One agreed content URL |
| Buyer | One authorized ordering contact |
| Evidence | Shared order ID and baseline |
Worked example
Hypothetically, a brand and a creator each plan 300 likes for the same collaboration. If their agreement intended 300 total, one combined purchase avoids an unintended 600-unit request. The shared record should state the total before anyone submits.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
