Name the destination
Write whether the requested action ends on the profile, a particular post or an external page. A broad traffic label should be resolved into a clear destination and observable metric before payment.
Compare the reporting method
Check how the listing says its result can be verified. Profile insights and website analytics describe different events, so do not substitute one measurement for another when a campaign report is prepared.
Keep the sales claim separate
Even a documented website click does not establish a purchase. If the real goal is sales, plan the site's conversion measurement independently rather than assuming that the purchased action includes downstream commercial outcomes.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Destination | Profile or explicitly defined external page |
| Metric | Visit, click or another stated event |
| Outcome | Separate evidence for leads and sales |
Worked example
Hypothetically, a buyer wants 300 website visits but selects a listing for profile visits. The mismatch is resolved before ordering. A link in the profile biography does not make every profile visit an automatic visit to the linked store.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
