Identify the stated metric
Ask how the service defines a profile visit and which reporting surface can observe it. Do not replace a visit count with follower growth simply because the latter is easier to see publicly.
Match the time range
Capture the same date range and timezone before and after the planned observation. A rolling window can remove older activity while adding new activity, so a changed total may not represent the order alone.
Record other traffic sources
Note ads, collaborations and major publications during the period. Keep the service request and account observations together, but avoid presenting their correlation as proof that every reported visit was supplied by that order.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Metric | Definition accepted by the listing |
| Window | Consistent dates and timezone |
| Context | Other sources of profile traffic |
Worked example
Hypothetically, a weekly profile-visit report rises while an order runs for two days. The buyer checks the daily breakdown and overlapping promotions instead of subtracting two different rolling-week totals and calling the difference verified service delivery.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
