Report the transaction first
List the approved action, quantity, target, order status, and net charge. State unresolved exceptions plainly. These fields describe what was purchased and what the operational record shows; they do not establish why wider audience metrics changed.
Label observed metrics
Show any relevant public or account analytics with the observation period and source. Note other campaigns that could affect them. Avoid attributing all growth to a single order when you cannot isolate its contribution from organic activity or paid advertising.
Keep outcomes evidence-based
Sales, inquiries, and retention require their own measurement. If no such evidence exists, do not substitute a service count as proof. A useful report can accurately describe completed work while acknowledging that commercial impact remains unmeasured.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Purchase | Order fulfillment record |
| Observation | Metric and time window |
| Outcome | Separate business evidence |
Worked example
A hypothetical campaign purchases 5,000 views and records three inquiries during the same week. Without attribution evidence, the report can show both facts but should not claim that the view order generated all three inquiries.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
