Define operational completion
A campaign can contain several orders with different outcomes. List which are completed, canceled, partial, or still unresolved according to the panel's definitions. Do not let one successful order determine the status of the entire campaign.
Reconcile scope and spending
Compare approved quantities with settled order records, and calculate net spend from actual charges and confirmed credits. Keep public performance metrics in a separate section. Completing the purchased scope does not demonstrate sales, audience quality, or organic growth.
Record outstanding responsibilities
Note any coverage window, pending clarification, or follow-up that remains after the immediate purchase closes. Assign an owner and a review date where needed. A clear closeout should explain both what was completed and what remains uncertain.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Orders | Individual final outcomes |
| Spend | Charges less confirmed credits |
| Follow-up | Named unresolved items |
Worked example
A hypothetical five-order campaign has four completed requests and one unresolved partial order. Reporting all five as complete would conceal the exception. The closeout can state four settled orders, one open issue, and the exact remaining budget.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
