Treat status as one field
A completed label is part of the panel's order record, not a substitute for the rest of the transaction. Match the service identifier, target, requested quantity, charge, and any reported remainder. Keep the original description available for comparison.
Use the documented counting method
Some actions can be observed directly while others rely on a defined report. Compare like with like and note outside activity during the observation window. A total public increase does not isolate the contribution of a single order if other campaigns ran simultaneously.
Close or query the discrepancy
If records agree, close the operational task while preserving any ongoing coverage dates. If they do not, describe the exact mismatch and ask for clarification. Avoid starting another order on the same target until the unresolved delivery question is understood.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Scope | Original service description |
| Quantity | Requested and reported amounts |
| Resolution | Documented discrepancy or closure |
Worked example
A hypothetical completed order requested 800 units. The record reports 800 delivered and no remainder, but the buyer expected 1,000. The first check is the submitted quantity; a mistaken expectation is different from a short delivery.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
