Identify the campaign object
A release campaign may mention both an artist profile and an individual track. State which object the purchased action concerns. A follow-related request should not be evaluated using the track-play counter merely because the campaign promotes that song.
Use the corresponding address
Keep profile and track URLs in separate fields in your brief. Follow the selected listing’s input requirement and confirm the destination before submission. A client-approved track link does not automatically approve an account-level request with a different purpose.
Report the scope accurately
Do not describe profile follows as guaranteed future listening to the promoted track. Record the account-level action separately from track activity. If both are purchased, itemize the quantities and evidence rather than merging them into one promotion total.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Object | Artist profile or individual track |
| Input | URL matching the selected action |
| Report | Account and track metrics kept separate |
Worked example
An illustrative artist asks for attention on a new track but supplies a profile link. Clarify whether the intended purchase is profile follows or track actions before treating that address as a complete order brief.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
