Record the complete specification
Write the viewer measurement, included minutes and target requirements beside the quoted price. Check whether the quantity is billed per package, per time block or through another clearly described method.
Compare equivalent coverage
Normalize only when the listings support a meaningful comparison. A viewer-minute calculation can describe planned quantity multiplied by duration, but it does not prove that two providers deliver identical audience behavior or reporting.
Check the extension boundary
Ask how additional time is purchased and whether an extension continues the existing session. Do not assume that unused minutes transfer to another broadcast or that a longer stream automatically increases the paid coverage.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Unit | Viewer definition and included minutes |
| Comparison | Same duration and supported target |
| Extension | Separate charge and continuity rules |
Worked example
Hypothetically, 50 viewers for 30 minutes represents 1,500 planned viewer-minutes, while 50 for 60 minutes represents 3,000. That arithmetic helps compare stated scope, but it is not a verification of delivered viewers or a claim about their quality.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
