Ask for separate quantities
Record the number of views, likes and any other explicitly included action. A single total called engagement does not tell the buyer which result the service is actually promising for the video.
Match the comparison scope
Compare the bundle with separate listings that accept the same target and use comparable definitions. Keep timing and coverage visible; matching quantities alone do not establish that two offers have identical conditions.
Report components accurately
Use separate rows for each purchased metric and one combined financial total. Do not add likes and views to claim a unique audience, and do not infer an included shares service from a broad package name.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Components | Exact count for each action |
| Comparison | Same target type and terms |
| Reporting | Separate metrics and combined spending |
Worked example
Hypothetically, a package specifies 2,000 views and 150 likes. The buyer compares those components with compatible standalone purchases. The package is not reported as 2,150 different viewers, nor does it imply that 150 of the purchased views necessarily produced the likes.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
