Identify the original intention
A channel link identifies an account, while a video order needs a particular piece of content. Reopen the intended video and compare its address with the submitted target. Do not assume a panel can select the newest upload on your behalf.
Preserve the first order
Keep the order reference, submitted link, service name and current status. Request clarification about whether the existing request can be corrected or cancelled. Creating another order immediately can complicate payment records and leave two active requests for related targets.
Prevent a repeat mistake
Store channel-level and video-level URLs in separate fields when preparing batches. A useful final check is to open each target and describe exactly what appears. If the brief names a video but the destination is a channel page, stop submission.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Submitted target | The exact address saved with the order |
| Intended content | The individual video to receive the action |
| Next action | Correction or cancellation terms before reordering |
Worked example
For a hypothetical launch, the channel homepage was entered instead of the product tutorial. Record both URLs in the support request, label the original submission and intended target, and wait for the existing order’s treatment.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
