Define the cutoff
Write the final eligible publication and cutoff time into the campaign record. Give the time a timezone so the account owner and ordering operator do not interpret the boundary differently.
Check outstanding work
Review requests already created before pausing. A pause may govern future detection without canceling work already submitted; use the actual service description or support response to determine the effect.
Verify the state
Keep confirmation of the pause and review subsequent order activity. If another eligible publication appears, check the documented cutoff against its publication time before assuming a billing error or requesting reimbursement.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Cutoff | Last approved publication and timezone |
| Outstanding | Already submitted requests and charges |
| Confirmation | Recorded pause and subsequent activity |
Worked example
Hypothetically, a campaign stops at 18:00 but one post triggered an order at 17:55. The buyer checks whether that existing request remains valid under the terms. Stopping future detection is not automatically treated as cancellation of the earlier purchase.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
