Build an order-level ledger
Create one line per actual order ID with target, service, submitted quantity and final charge. If a campaign uses several actions on one Reel, retain separate lines so their costs remain traceable.
Resolve accounting exceptions
Match each credit or adjustment to its original request where the ledger permits. Keep a pending support decision in an exception list rather than changing the final campaign cost before the adjustment is confirmed.
Report performance separately
Add observed content metrics in a separate section with their time ranges. The accounting ledger establishes spending and recorded service status; it does not establish how much organic reach or revenue the purchases caused.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Ledger | One row per actual order ID |
| Adjustments | Confirmed credit tied to original charge |
| Reporting | Costs separated from attribution claims |
Worked example
A hypothetical month includes ten charged requests and one confirmed credit against a partial order. The report shows gross charges, that credit and net spending. It does not remove a second disputed charge until the account record confirms its resolution.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
