Identify the billable object
Read whether the service accepts the carousel post URL and what its quantity represents. A creative containing several images does not by itself establish multiple separately billable targets within the order form.
Avoid multiplying an unsupported promise
If a package says 500 likes, ask whether that quantity applies to the post. Do not describe it to a client as 500 likes per slide without explicit service documentation supporting that interpretation.
Keep creative reporting separate
Report the purchased post-level action separately from insights about individual creative elements. When comparing two carousels, record their own URLs and charges rather than treating the entire campaign as one undifferentiated target.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Compatibility | Carousel post explicitly accepted |
| Quantity | Post-level unit stated in description |
| Reporting | Separate URL for each carousel |
Worked example
In a hypothetical order, a five-slide carousel and a three-slide carousel each receive a quantity of 200 under a post-level listing. The requested total is 400 post likes, not 1,600 likes obtained by multiplying quantities by slide counts.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
