Identify the exact comment
Record the post URL, comment author and the relevant text without relying on position in the thread. Comment ordering can change, so instructions such as the third comment are not a stable specification.
Check reply compatibility
Read whether the listing supports top-level comments, nested replies or both. If the description is silent, obtain clarification before entering a reply identifier into a field that may expect a different target type.
Preserve a support reference
Save the target details and a dated screenshot showing the intended reply. Do not submit another nearby comment as a substitute simply because the desired reply is difficult to identify in the interface.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Comment | Author, text and exact identifier |
| Depth | Top-level or nested reply support |
| Evidence | Dated target record before ordering |
Worked example
Hypothetically, one account writes two replies under the same post. A username alone cannot distinguish them. The buyer confirms the supported identifier for the intended reply and does not assume that a post link plus username is sufficient for every service.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
