Trace the complete path
Open the exact Pin and follow its destination through any redirects. Confirm that the final page matches the campaign and works for an ordinary visitor. A correct-looking image or title does not establish that the destination is current, available or relevant.
Match the click definition
Read whether the service concerns opening the Pin, outbound clicks or another stated action. These definitions affect what the landing-page check can tell you. A Pin interaction should not be quoted as a website visit when the offer does not specify that path.
Prepare separate measurement
Use authorized website analytics to observe visits and downstream actions where possible. Keep those records separate from the panel's completion status. If the destination is changed during the campaign, record the change time because the same Pin may then lead to a different experience.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Pin | Exact selected item |
| Destination | Correct final landing page |
| Metric | Pin action or outbound activity |
Worked example
A hypothetical product Pin still links to a discontinued item. A click-related purchase would not fix that destination mismatch. Update and verify the authorized landing experience first, then compare the service's stated click definition with the campaign objective.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
