List the candidate items
Open the matching Pins and record their public references, publishing context and destinations. Similar artwork does not make the Pins interchangeable. The campaign may concern a new product landing page while an older copy still points to a different destination.
Select the approved target
Confirm which Pin belongs in the brief and compare its format with the listing's requirements. Avoid submitting a board or profile link as a substitute for the intended individual Pin. If several Pins are included, allocate quantity to each explicitly.
Keep observations item-specific
Record the chosen Pin's starting metric and order reference together. A result observed on another copy of the image does not establish fulfillment for the purchased target. Combined creative-level reporting should retain the separate item records underneath the total.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Image | May be reused |
| Pin reference | Unique target identifier |
| Destination | Campaign-specific landing page |
Worked example
Imagine two Pins share the same product photograph, but one links to a seasonal collection and the other to a single-item page. The correct target depends on the approved campaign. A screenshot of the photograph alone would not distinguish the two orders.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
