Match the variant details
Check the Pin's image and description against the landing page's product, color, size or other relevant variant. A broad collection page may be intentional, but that should be part of the brief. Do not assume a similar product image proves the destination is correct.
Specify the approved action
Decide whether the purchase concerns saves, a defined click action or another supported metric. Keep the exact Pin reference with the item description so an operator can distinguish variants. Several Pins using the same campaign theme should still have separate target records.
Review outcome context
If website results are evaluated later, note stock availability and destination changes during the campaign. Those conditions can affect the visitor experience independently of the purchased action. Report the service scope separately from product sales rather than using a count change as proof of demand.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Creative | Correct product variant |
| Destination | Matching approved item |
| Metric | Named purchased action |
Worked example
For illustration, a blue-shirt Pin may accidentally point to a red-shirt landing page. A click-related order would not resolve that mismatch. Verify the intended variant and destination first, then use the correct Pin reference in the purchasing brief and campaign report.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
