Capture the meaningful fields
Save the service identifier, name, rate basis, target requirements, quantities, timing language, and coverage conditions. A screenshot of the title alone leaves most of the purchase undefined. Include the date and the order identifier once available.
Separate historical and current terms
A listing may change after purchase. Keep the saved version for the original record and check the current version for a new order. Do not assume either version automatically governs the other transaction without clarification from the seller.
Use snapshots proportionately
Store only information relevant to the purchase and avoid capturing sensitive account details unnecessarily. When opening a support question, reference the specific clause involved instead of sending unrelated pages. This makes the comparison more precise and easier to review.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Identity | Service identifier |
| Scope | Requirements and conditions |
| Version | Capture date and linked order |
Worked example
A hypothetical listing says views for a recorded video when the order is placed, then later changes its title to include LIVE. The old purchase should be reviewed against the saved description, while a future purchase needs the current scope confirmed.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
