TikTok Campaign Spending: Reconcile Orders and Credits

A campaign's net spending should be traceable to individual TikTok purchases. Reconcile actual order charges and confirmed credits instead of using deposited funds or planned quantities as a substitute for the final cost.

Use one row per order

Record the reference, target, service, requested quantity and final charge. Multiple actions on the same video remain separate financial events, even if the client prefers a single campaign summary at the top.

Match confirmed adjustments

Associate each visible credit or adjustment with the relevant original request where possible. Keep unresolved disputes in an exception section rather than subtracting an expected refund from spending before it is confirmed.

Separate balance and performance

Remaining account credit is not the same as campaign cost, and neither figure establishes audience or sales results. Present financial reconciliation separately from observed video metrics so the report does not imply unsupported attribution.

Worked example

Hypothetically, a campaign has $18 of finalized order charges and one confirmed $2 credit. Its net service spend is $16, excluding separately reported funding costs. Another requested but unapproved credit remains an open item rather than reducing that total.

Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
