Define the comparison group
Group services by platform, action, target type, and billing basis. Keep incompatible offers in separate groups. A view package for a recorded video should not be directly ranked against a live-duration package merely because both mention viewers.
Add decision fields
Record minimums, maximums, stated timing, coverage conditions, and any evidence available from your own tests. Distinguish supplier claims from observed results. Leave unknown fields marked unknown rather than filling them with assumptions from a similar listing.
Choose for a specific order
Use the comparison sheet to evaluate the current campaign requirement, not to declare one universal winner. Refresh material fields before purchasing. A service that suits a large scheduled batch may be unsuitable for a small urgent test.
Decision checklist
| Decision | What to check |
|---|---|
| Group | Equivalent action and unit |
| Fields | Conditions plus evidence |
| Decision | Fit for the current order |
Worked example
A hypothetical sheet compares two per-thousand recorded-video services and one one-hour live-viewer package. The live package belongs in a separate comparison group; its lower numeric rate does not make it cheaper for the recorded-video requirement.
Example figures explain the decision; they are not current prices or promised results.
